Reflecting on 2023, a Year of Growth and Gratitude: End-of-Year Message
As 2023 draws to a close, Primecare Fertility Clinic gathers at the residence of our clinical director, Dr. Ese Omonigho, this Thursday, December 21st, to reflect, give thanks, and look forward with hope.
From the onset, 2023 was embraced with a spirit of gratitude. We began the year with a collective thanksgiving, setting the stage for what was to become a period of remarkable growth and resilience. We have seen firsthand that our aspirations, coupled with faith and hard work, can lead to extraordinary outcomes.
Firstly, We are profoundly thankful to our esteemed customers for their patronage, through them we received the blessings of God.
This year was marked by significant achievements and challenges. We are deeply grateful that all staff remained safe and healthy, overcoming obstacles. Our team’s spirit remained unbroken, and our commitment to our patients never wavered.
Our services reached new heights, with over a thousand inquiries from various platforms, reflecting the growing confidence and satisfaction with our care. Notably, more than 55% of our clientele were international patients, drawn by our reputable services and the high standards we uphold. We are proud to have welcomed 780 new patient registrations, performed over 600 oocyte retrievals, and completed 437 embryo transfers, with success rates soaring up to 60%.
Innovation was at the forefront of our core value. We introduced hysteroscopy services, successfully conducting over 65 cases since July. Our pre-implantation genetic testing (PGT-A) saw increased success, and we ventured into pioneering Spent Culture Media (SCM) testing. Additionally, the establishment of a point-of-care immunology protein assay has enhanced our diagnostic capabilities.
We recognise and celebrate the personal achievements of our staff, from marriages and home purchases to the joy of parenthood. These milestones reflect the personal growth and happiness of our dedicated team.
As we look to 2024, dubbed our “Year of Consolidated Growth,” we are excited about the transition to our new site, becoming Primecare Fertility, Diagnostics, and Specialist Clinics. We are poised to expand our horizons further, setting up a genetics laboratory and a tissue culture lab, aiming to become a hub in the African sub-region.
Our commitment to continuous learning and improvement remains unwavering. We will keep supporting academic and professional development, rewarding insights, and maintaining high standards. Our journey is one of innovation, quality, and care, and every step we take is aimed at being a beacon of hope for families facing infertility.
In this season of joy and reflection, we extend our heartfelt thanks to every member of the Primecare family, especially acknowledging the unwavering support of our Clinical Director’s wife, the backbone of our organisation.
As we celebrate this Christmas and look forward to a new year, we are reminded of the power of unity, the strength of faith, and the endless possibilities when we dare to be different. Here is to a year of answered prayers and continued blessings.
Thank you, and have a blissful festive season.
