The one-day maiden edition of Primecare Fertility Clinic Management Staff Retreat 2022 themed “leadership skills development for sustaining the quality management system” held on the 8th of February 2022 at Romeo’s Pizza Cold Berry, Garki Abuja. The retreat events was managed by Cademy Ltd and Scarce Skills Hub and was attended by 11 management staff of Primecare. At the end of the programme certificates were issued to all participants.
The main focus of the retreat was to deliberate on the strategic plan of 2022 and its achievements. The Strategic Plan discussion was facilitated by Dr Stephen Hati of Cademy Ltd. However, a short seminar on leadership skills development was delivered by Bar Adekunle of Scarce Skills Hub.
Analysis of feedback revealed that the retreat was impactful on providing a basis for the development of leadership skill and commitment of staff to manage the strategic plan 2022.
The Clinical Director of Primecare Fertility Clinic, Dr Ese Omonigho Williams of appreciated the resource persons and participants for their valuable contributions and active participation.
Participants recommended that management retreat should be held annually, but at a more suitable venue and that more practical and real-life managerial scenarios to be used for discussion sessions.
